Joe Gimenez — Founder, Kolbe Alliance for Conscience Rights

Joe Gimenez is the founder of the Kolbe Alliance for Conscience Rights, a Texas‑based initiative dedicated to defending religious conscience, free expression, and the dignity of every person.
A lifelong Catholic, Joe’s commitment to conscience protection is rooted in his formation at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, where he first encountered the Jesuit tradition of intellectual rigor, moral clarity, and service to others. Today, he is a parishioner at Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway, Texas, where he continues to draw strength from the Church’s teachings on human dignity and the primacy of conscience.
Joe brings more than 25 years of experience in public affairs, regulatory advocacy, and strategic communications — experience shaped by his work advising industries that affect daily life, including utilities, energy, software, pension systems, and public finance. His professional career has been defined by a simple principle: listen deeply, act strategically, and advocate relentlessly.
A Career Built on Strategic Advocacy
Before founding the Kolbe Alliance, Joe built a reputation as a trusted counselor to Fortune 500 companies, public agencies, and grassroots organizations. He led public affairs efforts at the international PR firm Cohn & Wolfe, then founded G3 Public Relations in 2007 — a results‑driven consultancy that helped Microsoft’s worldwide utilities business grow to $1 billion in sales.
His advocacy experience runs deep. Joe has advised statewide pension organizations, navigated complex regulatory landscapes, and helped member‑serving institutions defend themselves against political pressure. His ability to translate complicated systems into clear, actionable guidance is a hallmark of his work — and a cornerstone of the Kolbe Alliance’s mission.
Why the Kolbe Alliance Exists
Joe founded the Kolbe Alliance for one reason: to protect people of faith from coercive pressures.
Inspired by the witness of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Alliance stands with individuals and communities who face institutional, political, or cultural pressure to abandon or suppress their religious convictions. Joe’s work in other advocacy arenas showed him how easily systems can overwhelm ordinary people — and how urgently conscience rights need a clear, principled, and independent defender.
Leadership Rooted in Service
Joe’s leadership of the Kolbe Alliance reflects the same values that guide his work at Fair Water Texas: empowering people, clarifying complex systems, and defending those who cannot defend themselves.
Whether confronting institutional pressure, analyzing policy, or helping individuals navigate conscience‑related conflicts, Joe remains focused on one goal: ensuring that every person has the freedom to live their faith without fear, coercion, or retaliation.
